State-of-the-art drives

The series of Liebherr piling and drilling rigs is equipped with powerful diesel engines spe-

cially designed for heavy-duty construction tasks. Besides reliability, longevity and ease

of service protection of the environment was also a main focus during development. For

example, particle ﬁ lters, which can also be retroﬁ tted, make the piling and drilling rigs of the

LRB series especially environmentally friendly - a prerequisite for their application in sensi-

tive areas.

Fuel savings of up to 40%

The powerful Liebherr diesel engines, offering 450 – 670 kW depending on the machine

class, allow operation of vibrator, hammer, double rotary head, etc. solely via the machine’s

on-board hydraulics. No additional power packs are needed. This saves fuel and thus op-

erating costs.
